National Night Out

In 2023, the Village of Tinley Park/Tinley Park Police Department's National Night Out - America's Night Out Against Crime celebration was awarded a 2023 National Award recognizing outstanding participation in America's Night Out Against Crime  from the National Association of Town Watch in the population 50,000 to 100,000.  This was the 16^th award since 2007 for our National Night Out celebration.

The 2024 National Night Out - America's Night Out Against Crime will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in the parking lot of Freedom Park, 7835 Timber Drive (East of the Tinley Park Public Library) 6 PM—9 PM.  Tinley Park Police Department, Fire Department, Emergency Management, 911 Center, Public Works and other law enforcement agencies vehicles will be on display.  In addition, businesses, organizations, schools and churches are invited to participate. Set up will start at 4:30 PM and the spaces are on a first come first serve basis.  Please bring your own table, chairs, tents and information to give out to the visitors who will be attending.  This is a free, family-friendly event with entertainment by David Fleming Magician/Juggler/Stilt Walker Variety Show.  Hope to see you on August 6, 2023.
